All patients who suffer from any of the above diseases will be invited to attend an annual review in the appropriate clinic in addition to your being under the care of a hospital. This provides you with added reassurance and more opportunity to discuss your condition.
Foot care problems can be referred to Services at Witham, Colchester or Tiptree. Additional information is available from reception or via the notice boards.
Female patients aged 50 – 64 will be offered mammography by the breast screening unit every three years. However, if you have any concerns you should speak to one of the medical team.
Your doctor or practice nurse will be pleased to offer guidance on all aspects of lifestyle including smoking, alcohol, diet and exercise. Special attention is focused on problems such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes and osteoporosis.
This can be accessed via the Surgery. The doctors are in daily communication with the District Nurse regarding patient welfare.
